A.L. Kay honed her poetic voice while working with the Bureau of Land Management. Inspired by the Western Slope, she merges her scientific knowledge with a deep love for the desert. Her words invite readers on a journey of vulnerability, introspection, and the cyclical nature of love. She currently lives in a cabin by the river and works in the uranium remediation industry.
